The FPA Archive
FPA stands for Future Pattern Archive. The Guangzhou team pictures the brand as an archive that records how it grows, with each garment filed as one entry.
FPA moves between outdoor clothing and everyday sportswear. Across the range, contrast seams, graphic tees and generous trousers do the visual work.
The archive now reaches from lightweight running layers and textured knits to shells and down jackets.

Contrast follows movement.
A half zip and contrast seams turn a training layer into a drawn line. FPA's newer range carries that language from light tops and wide trousers to shells and down jackets.
Patterns return in different forms: the repeated logo, mountain graphics and lines that follow the seams. On a tee they become a print; on a shell, a way of drawing the body.
The stand-collar jacket is long-staple cotton shrunk with salt, which gives it a texture of its own. Panels are cut apart and joined again, so the light falls differently across each one.
In 2023 FPA opened a concept store in Chengdu built around bamboo, with handmade tiles and bamboo made of metal.
On the back of one tee, three lines sum up a free day.
Color-Block Textured Pants
Color-Block Striped Long-sleeve Tee
Sunday Typography Tee
Color-Block Half-Zip Knit
Start with the shape you want to wear. A wide trouser changes the balance of a close knit; a short training layer leaves room for a bold shell. The same contrast lines carry through each combination.
